Toilet Paper Dresses

My friend, Hannah, has a quirky sense of humor. Since I do too, this works out well. Tonight, she had some fun teasing me about my couponing. She sent me an email about these women who made dresses out of toilet paper. Some used coupons to purchase the toilet paper to make the dresses.

Now, I'm all about the coupons, and I'm certainly all about dresses. I'm rather fond of toilet paper, too, since I use it on a daily basis. BUT, I do not see me ever using a coupon to purchase toilet paper out of which I would make a dress. Call me crazy, but I feel that my time may be better spent elsewhere. (I will say, in defense of the toilet paper making individuals, it was for some sort of contest.)

A Three Mile Walk, Money Saved, and an Overflowing Toilet

Here's the quick and easy update, as I'm tired and will be crashing shortly.

I was a good girl tonight and completed my three mile walk. Granted, I finished at 9:00 p.m., but I did it.

Prior to the walk, I went to Publix and saved more than I spent. I purchased $21.57 worth of groceries and saved $27.91. Whoohoo!

Now, it was fortuitous that I saved that money as I had to run to Wal-Mart to buy a new plunger after discovering an overflowing toilet. (My old plunger broke during the plunging process.) Please note: Wal-Mart at 9:30 at night is a rather scary place. Fascinating, but scary.

I'm now going to crash.

Night-night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite!

Hi. My name is Christie, and I'm a couponer.

For those of my friends whom I haven't regaled with the wonders of my savings, let me just update you.  I am officially shopping at Publix (due to coupon mania there!), and I'm saving tons of cash. For instance, today I spent $111.00 and saved $107.00. That's pretty good in my opinion.

I've also officially made money at CVS. $2.00 plus to be exact. And saved bu coups at other times.

It's a rush for me to know that my money is going a lot further. Especially now when I need it to go as far as possible.

So, I'm an coupon addict and proud of it! If they would only start making some serious coupons for shoes, I'd be in heaven!
